Steven Malin

Mr. Malin is the Chief Financial Officer for the Hualapai Tribe’s Grand Canyon Resort Corporation. Previously he worked as an executive for Native Corporations in Alaska that were involved in hydropower development and utility operations. Prior to working in Alaska Mr. Malin was the founding Group CFO for SunGard Treasury Systems, which he helped develop into the world’s leading provider of corporate treasury software and services. One of his favorite experiences was a $2.7 Billion defense and construction project where he worked as an expat in Germany and Saudi Arabia. Mr. Malin’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and an MBA from California State University, Northridge. He earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate from the University of Illinois after passing all parts on the first sitting. From the Institute of Certified Management Accountants he earned the Certified Management Accountant and Certified in Financial Management certifications, also passing all parts on his first attempt. He is a member of MENSA.
